Description:
Context:
During the summer of 2010, two Twitterers (Twitter users), Francesc Llorens (@francescllorens) and Juanjo Calderón (@eraser) started an initiative of writing a collaborative open book of stories about Twitter written by all the users of Twitter connected in the Spanish speaking timeline: El Bazar de los Locos (Llorens & Calderon, 2012). The main idea of this project was collecting personal stories regarding the use of Twitter for teaching, learning, education, enterprise, communication, lifelong learning and digital identity.

Programa:
The project was conducted exclusively online, via the website dedicated to the project and Twitter itself. The former served to aggregate the stories of the educators who volunteered as authors of their own stories whilst the latter was used as a platform for both crowdsourcing and dissemination of content. The target audience of the project were practitioners and researchers from different levels of education and disciplinary areas, from different institutions and countries, who are highly networked online and use Twitter as part of their approach to learning and professional development.

At the end of the summer (October, 2010) they have collected more than 100 stories, 1000 comments and an incredible amount of twitts around the initiative. The handbook was published in the beginning of 2012 (Creative Commons Licensed) and it is available for sale on the Internet.
